I'm game programmer/designer/person. I've been working professionally since about 2009, and for the last 7 years I've worked at Meta giving deep dive technical and design guidance to folks building things for the Quest.
I also run the PeopleMaking.Games Mastodon instance. If you're a game maker looking for a place to post about life, cats, and also your games, you're more than welcome.
Since starting at Meta, my relationship with game-making has grown weird. From one perspective, I work on more games than ever before, and have helped ship over 200 MR and VR games. On the other side of that coin though, I haven't been in the trenches building things for a long while. I think I'm going to try and start building more small things just for me.
