We're on a Podcast!
After a long week at Meta Connect (my day job!), I came home to a very nice surprise! Squids is the Pick of the Week for the first week of October for The Hello Playdate Podcast!
Squids v1.2 Update
Thanks to some great feedback from folks on their discord, I've done another polish pass on game balance.
- Increased minimum pipe-distances across the board
- Decreased "cranky mode" minimum forward speed
- Generally, you should see less failures because of unfair spawns. This means deaths are your fault! Except...
You know, sometimes folks complain too much.
It's not like I don't test this stuff. And I have a great way to do so! Just a little flag in game that sets all pipe distances to minimum and removes the difficulty ramp up.
And I mean, that was already there... so why not give it to folks!
